Sad news relayed by Mike Weyler and Ron Clements:

Avon Young passed away last night. This morning Avon's brother-in-law told me Avon passed peacefully, at home under hospice care.

Avon's brother-in-law told me that recently Avon had seemed normal one day then the next day he had required ambulance/ER. The cancer had returned aggressively.
