Friends,

Our traditional December HDAA social event with business meeting is
almost here: scheduled as a Zoom gathering at 10:00 a.m. (CST) Saturday
morning (12/5/20). The link established for practice sessions has worked
so well it seems unwise to change it for the real thing. So, let's just
keep it. It's below (in color).

Highly acclaimed musicians Lisa Duncan Williams, Benny Pitsinger, and
Allen Pendleton have practiced about five songs for this "virtual
Thiokol shindig." They have tried out Zoom and made some technical
adjustments to bring it a little closer to broadcast quality, but having
a concert on Zoom is still a development effort. And, we have the
excitement somewhat like the first firing of a newly designed rocket
motor. Remember those?

Other talented musicians Philip Franklin, Jamie Neidert, and Glenn Hamer
will kick off our event with solos of three Christmas songs that are not
so well known - for novelty and interest purposes Jamie says.

Tom Bryant will open the business meeting with a traditional moment of
silence for colleagues we have lost during the past year. Bill Barnes
will have an opening prayer. Tom and Gerald Roberts have a sufficient
slate of candidate 2021 HDAA officers and 2021-23 board members for us
to approve (hopefully) and there are still openings to be filled if we
can twist more arms. Tom will brief us on Charlie Thomas's financial
report and Glenn Webb will update us on the Thiokol Greenway near the
old plant site.

The current Zoom link (and detailed input if needed) is below. This is
the same we have been using for practice sessions.

You might note that during the concert periods everyone not performing
will be muted by the "host." At that time you may elect to go to the
"view" icon at the top right corner of your screen and click on
"speaker view" to maximize the size of the musician's window and later
click on "gallery view" to see the matrix of other participants. (If
anyone knows how the host can make that automatic we would love you to
tell us how.)

Do plan to join in the fun!!!
