Hoyt grew up in Decatur, graduated from Auburn, joined Thiokol in Utah, 
transferred to the Huntsville Division Engineering Dept. in 1985, worked 
the Maverick motor development, and then returned to Utah. Thanks to Jim 
Gasaway for catching this sad news in the latest Auburn alumni publication.
