[List] June 12 Thiokol Greenway Dedication

    *June 12 is now set for Thiokol Greenway Dedication*

Glenn Webb has talked with Mayor Tommy Battle and the mayor's secretary, 
Carol Atchley (daughter-in-law of HD alum W. H. "Homer" Atchley), and 
found a suitable date for the dedication of the *Thiokol Greenway: June 
12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Plan to attend and let others know about it.*
This date is very close to our target date of June 5 that would match 
our traditional HDAA Picnic Saturday, which is now a *9-11 Picnic 
(September 11 -- hopefully "post-pandemic").

Plenty of parking space is available at Bell Mountain Park (remember 
Duncan Bell and Maurice Bell?); and, Harold Whitesides has offered to 
provide a shuttle service with his ATV-like vehicle (OTV?) for those who 
cannot make the half-mile walk (actually 0.6 mile per Tom Bryant) to the 
Thiokol History patio and plaque. See the attached aeriel view of the 
old plant site and the Thiokol Greenway just outside the arsenal fence*. **
