*JAMES RALPH SIDES, SR.*


James R. Sides, Sr. (age 85) of Vienna, VA, passed on December 11, 2021 
after a long illness. Beloved husband of Martha; father of JR (Kathie), 
Kent (Rhonda), Patrick (Bonnie); grandfather of Jamie, Jonathan, Kelsey, 
Peyton, Savannah, Quentin and Angelina, and great-grandfather of four.

Born in Alabama, graduate of The University of Alabama and Chairman and 
CEO of Atlantic Research Corporation.

A celebration of his life will be held on a future date in 2022. In lieu

Jim Sidea had TC #2236 when he joined the Huntsville Division in 1958 
and was here for a year or two before starting his illustrious career at 
ARC, now a division of Aerojet. After retirement from ARC he worked as a 
consultant and served on a review team for a project at the Elkton Division.
