  Sad News from Jim Gasaway

My son passed  away last Saturday.  He was diagnosed with lung cancer 
last fall  and had been taking treatments  for several months. Sixty-six 
years old and a lifetime smoker.


MONTGOMERY

November 21. 1958 - April 12, 2025

James Douglas Buckley. 66, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away 
April 12, 2025.

James felt most comfortable while among nature fishing and hunting.. He 
is survived by his wife Pamela; son, Tay­lor and *stepdad 
extraordinaire, Jim Gasaway*; two daughters, Savannah Swann and Chelsea 
Davis; their children, three stepkids, Noelle, Danielle, Steven and 
their children.

James was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Buckley and his 
mother, Misha Williams **Gasaway,**The receiving of family and friends 
will be on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 12:00 ­2:00 p.m. at Southern 
Memo­rial Funeral Home, 2154 Highland Avenue, Mont­gomery, _AL _ .
