1962 - July 30, 2020)</h2>

<p><font size="+1">David Kyle Turner passed away in Athens
Hospital on Thursday, July 30, 2020. After a battle with
pneumonia, he passed peacefully surrounded by his family
at the age of 57.</font></p>
<font size="+1"> </font>
<p><font size="+1">Kyle is survived by his son David Nathan
Turner, a student at the University of Alabama, his mother<b>
Sandra H. Turner,</b> Athens, Alabama. his brother Byrne
Turner and sister-in-law Melanie Turner of Elkmont, AL,
nieces Becca Loudin (Nate), SaraBeth Dutton (Andy) of
Huntsville, AL and Sydney Turner of Elkmont, AL., two
Aunts, several cousins and friends.</font></p>
<font size="+1"> </font>
<p><font size="+1">He is predeceased in death by his father, <b>David
B. Turner</b>, grandparents, Evelyn and Bernie Branumn,
and Helen and Jim Harrison.</font></p>
<font size="+1"> </font>
<p><font size="+1">He was born on December 6, 1962 in
Huntsville, Alabama to David and Sandra Turner. He
graduated Athens High School, Athens, AL. He earned a BS
in business from Athens State University, Athens, AL and
an MS in psychology from A&M University, Huntsville,
AL. Most of his career was spent working with mentally and
physically challenged adults. </font></p>
<font size="+1"> </font>
<p><font size="+1">He loved his son and spending time with
him, a strong cup of coffee, and Alabama football. He also
loved his church family and was an active member of St.
Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Athens. Kyle will be
remembered for his love, compassion, and sense of humor.</font></p>
<font size="+1"> </font>
<p><font size="+1">A memorial service officiated by Mr. Greg
McAlister will be held at the First Baptist Church Chapel,
201 East Hobbs St., (entrance on Clinton St.) Athens, AL
on August 5, 2020 at 1 P.M. followed by a Committal of
Ashes Service officiated by the Rev. Dr. Foster Eich at
St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church Courtyard, 207 Washington
St., Athens, AL for the extended family only.</font></p>
