<p><font size="+2">I need to be sure that everyone receiving this
message is aware of their ability to send messages directly to
everyone on the list. This will work by sending a basic message
to <a class="moz-txt-link-rfc2396E" href="mailto:list@HDAA.info">"list@HDAA.info"</a> from the address that receives messages
through the list.</font></p>
<p><font size="+2">There are a few restrictions for prompt delivery
of the message (without going to an "admin" for approval):</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font size="+2">The sending address must be an address on the
list.</font></li>
<li><font size="+2">The "to" and "cc" lists of the message should
be limited (not part of a "send it to the world" type
distribution).</font></li>
<li><font size="+2">There should not be a big attachment.</font></li>
</ul>
<p><font size="+2">There are also a few general restrictions that
have not been a problem but could be:</font></p>
<ul>
<li><font size="+2">Avoid controversial topics (political, etc.;
an invitation to a debate is probably OK but an invitation to
a campaign rally not your own is iffy).</font></li>
<li><font size="+2">Keep messages "clean."</font></li>
<li><font size="+2">Do not exploit for commercial purposes
(announcement of your new business probably OK, but repeating
it probably not).</font></li>
<li><font size="+2">Don't sign up folks without ties to the old
TC-HD. (But, thus far, interested family members of HD alumni,
alumni of other TC divisions, HD customers, and HD suppliers
have been welcomed.)<br>

<p><font size="+2">This site is sponsored by HDAA. I say "probably"
regarding restrictions because it is ultimately the HDAA Board
that will make decisions, but in about 20 years there has never
been an issue that I have heard about. </font><font size="+2"><font
