<p><font size="+3"><b>Ann White</b></font></p>
<p><font size="+2">Ann Harris Uptain White, loving wife and mother,
passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on September 3, 2021. <br>
</font></p>
<p><font size="+2">Ann was born in Madison, AL on July 3, 1940,
graduated from Huntsville High School in 1958 and married in
1959. <br>
</font></p>
<p><font size="+2">She is survived by her husband of 62 years,
Durwood White; sister, Amy Uptain; children, Jonathan and Joel,
grandchildren, Victoria, Spencer, Donovan, Claire Isaac and
Madeline; and great-grandchildren, Zack and Axel. She was
preceded in death by her parents, John T. and Margaret Uptain.
Ann lived the majority of her life in the Five Points area of
Huntsville, but also resided in New York, NY, Jacksonville, FL,
and Houston, TX. <br>
</font></p>
<p><font size="+2">Ann was a missionary with Campus Crusade for
Christ for for 12 years, worked at <b>Thiokol</b>, the Madison
County Commission, and being an accomplished pianist, was the
pianist for Central Presbyterian Church, where she was a
lifelong member. Ann was an avid doll collector and a member of
the Twickenham Doll Club. <br>

<p><font size="+2">Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday,
September 7 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside
service will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dr.
Randy Jenkins officiating.</font></p>
