<h2>Jonathan's Obituary</h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Jonathan Sargent Prickett, 57, of
Grant, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Born in Gadsden, Johnny attended
Alexandria High School after which he went on to become a
dedicated civil servant. During his time at Redstone Arsenal,
“Big John” was who you called to fix an engineer’s problem.
Johnny loved his family, fixing things for others, his dogs,and
MOPAR. Johnny was a gentle giant that would gladly give anyone
the shirt off his back. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Johnny is preceded in death by his
father, Oscar Sargent Prickett, mother Nancy Hall, step father
Jerry Hall, and step sister Mary Fiddler. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Johnny is survived by his loving wife
Donna, daughter Laura (Chad) Dunaway, son Alex (Chloee)
Prickett, sister Nila (Greg) Nabors, step sister Liz (Larry)
Tucker, along with many nieces and nephews. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The family will receive friends
Wednesday, February 22nd from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at Berryhill
Funeral Home, followed by memorial service at 4:00.</span></p>

<div>Jon Prickett worked as an engineering technician at Thiokol in
the 1980’s at the Physical Test Lab. I know he worked there for
John Nelson for some of that time but may have worked in other
areas also. He came to work for the Army as a contractor at the
Propulsion Lab sometime in the early 90’s. He later became an
Army civilian [employee] and was still working at the time of his
death. (forgive any date errors, this is from memory – edit as
needed)
<p class="MsoPlainText">Visitation will be held on Wednesday,
February 22nd 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Berryhill
Funeral Home (2305 Memorial Parkway NW, Huntsville, Alabama
35810). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February
22nd 2023 at 4:00 PM at the Berryhill Funeral Home &
Crematory (2305 Memorial Parkway NW, Huntsville, Alabama 35810).</p>
