              Atkinson Barnett, 88, went to rest in the arms of Jesus on
              June 3, 2023  in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nancy(Sis) was born on
              October 15, 1934 to the parents of Buford Daniel Atkinson
              and Mary Elizabeth Atkinson. She attended school in
              Madison, Alabama during her primary years but graduated
              from Huntsville High School with the Class of '52. She was
              a graduate of Auburn University. <br>

              survived by her son, James Buford Barnett(Kristin),
              daughter, Karen Lynne Fouch (Bob), and son Michael Gregory
              Barnett. She had seven grandchildren; Rob Fouch, Frazier
              Barnett, Melissa Hirshburg, Meghan Barnett, Jon Fouch,
              Quinn McKellar, and Catherine Gravenmier. She had
              seventeen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by
              her mother and father and two brothers, Dan Atkinson and
              John Paul Atkinson.</span></span></div>

              the wife of the late Jim Barnett (TC#2035) when he worked
              in PM and Proposals from 1958 to 1964. She grew up on a
              farm that is now part of Huntsville International Airport.
              Her brother John Paul Atkinson (TC#2346) worked at the HD
              until 1974. She was "Sis" to him and everybody who knew
              her at Auburn.<br>
