              Yell Obituary<o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Billy Ray
              Yell, 92, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on November 14,
              2023. His funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 17
              at 2:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Bob
              Wallace Ave. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. The burial
              will be at Maple Hill Cemetery following the service.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Mr. Yell
              was born in Merrimack Village, Alabama, on January 9,
              1931, to Charles E. Yell and Era Haynes Yell. He grew up
              in Merrimack and attended Joe Bradley School. He attended
              Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, Tennessee.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">He went
              to work at Thiokol Corporation on Redstone Arsenal in 1951
              and worked there until retiring in 1991 as a Senior
              Engineer.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">He was
              preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 53 years,
              Dorothy Widner Yell, and two brothers, Clarence Yell and
              James Yell.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">He is
              survived by his son, Billy R. Yell II (wife Susan) and two
              grandsons, Ryan F. Yell (wife Sarah) and Evan W. Yell
              (wife Meredith).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
          <p class="MsoNormal"><span
              style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Mr. Yell
              was a faithful member of the Kelly Springs Road church of
              Christ.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
