<p><b><font size="5">Obituary: Jean Haas (Mrs. Wesley Hass)</font></b></p>
<p>Julia K. Hass peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 2nd,
2023 at the age of 89 in Huntsville, Alabama. Julia was a
Huntsville native. In 1951, she was a member of the last
graduating class of Joe Bradley High School. She was a charter
member of Hillsboro Heights Baptist Church.</p>
<p>Visitation will be heldĀ Sunday, November 5th from 12-1 PM at
Laughlin Service Funeral Home with a graveside service following
at 2 PM at Huntsville Memory Gardens.</p>
<p>Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Koonce
and her husband Wesley C. Hass. She is survived by her children
Kathryn (Ron) Long and Karey Hass; grandchildren Chris (Charlotte)
Hiles and Rachel (Nicholas) Ward; and great grandchildren Grace,
Colin, Eleanor, and Andrew.</p>
<p>The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice
Family Care, 10,000 Serenity Drive Huntsville, Al 35803.</p>

<p>Wesley Hass worked at the HD from 1959 to 1991 and maybe longer.
He is currently offering a photo collection to the HD archives.
