Emma Jean Davis, age 86, went to be with the Lord on May 22,
2024, surrounded by her family after a long illness. Jean was born
in Troy, Alabama and was one of thirteen children. She attended

teacher for 40+ years.

Spurlock; her husband, James B. Davis, Jr.; and her son, Russell
S. Davis. She is survived by her sons, James Benjamin Davis III
(Susan) and John Christopher Davis (Laura), and daughter-in-law
Angie Davis. She leaves seven grandchildren: Wes Davis (Emily),
Mary Beth Davis, Grace Davis, Jack Davis, Will Davis, Kenley
Davis, and Pajia Zipperer, and two great-grandchildren, Madeline
Davis and Cameron Davis.
