<h4 class="panel-title">Obituary</h4>
<p>Billy Ray Patterson, 94, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on
Thursday, January 1, 2026.</p>
<p>Born January 5, 1931, Billy dedicated his life to his beloved
family. He worked for Thiokol Chemical Corporation for 31 years
and was a home contractor. In his spare time, he enjoyed the
outdoors and loved quail Hunting.</p>
<p>Billy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gracie Patterson; his
children, Gayle Murphy and Jane Biggs; son-in-law, Jim Biggs; and
his sister, Norma Short.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Berryhill
Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will
follow at 2:30 pm at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dub McCain
officiating. </p>
<p>Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family. <br>
