I had always assumed that.  I was out there with Bob as he gradually
withered from the tall, healthy man that he had always been.  Al was like
that.  I am so glad I had the privilege to know both of them.  His book
should be required reading for all engineers.

Two of his great quotes:  "That's a really GOOD, Bad Idea." and his quip
about liquid propulsion:  "if it doesn't leak, it is empty."
