        Obituary

Billy Ray Patterson, 94, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on 
Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Born January 5, 1931, Billy dedicated his life to his beloved family.  
He worked for Thiokol Chemical Corporation for 31 years and was a home 
contractor.  In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors and loved quail 
Hunting.

Billy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gracie Patterson; his 
children, Gayle Murphy and Jane Biggs; son-in-law, Jim Biggs; and his 
sister, Norma Short.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Berryhill Funeral 
Home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.  A graveside service will follow at 2:30 pm 
at Maple Hill Cemetery with Dub McCain officiating.

Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
